HackedID exists to make the worst day — the day you realize you've been hacked, scammed, or exposed in a data breach — feel manageable. We built this site to be the calm, competent first stop for anyone dealing with identity theft, a hacked account, a breach notification letter, or an online scam.
What we do
We provide plain-English, general information about cyber incident recovery, free tools to help you assess your situation, and a path to a free case review with an independent, licensed consumer-protection attorney when legal action may make sense — for example, after a company's negligence led to a data breach that caused you real harm.
What we don't do
We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created by using this site.
